I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Indigo Books & Music in Jul 2025
Interview
Interview was simple, group of up to 10 and you do small activities and answer questions as a normal interview would be if you were 1-1. Pretty straight forward even googling other people’s experience really helps.

Question 1
They asked you to make a little gift for the person to your left. You would have a few minutes to do so.

Interview
The group interview process was interesting and fun. They had everyone go around in a circle and answer certain questions as well as complete two tasks, one being a sales pitch and one being working in pairs of two to draw a picture that one could not see.
They then told us we would hear back from them for the next round interview which was a one on one with the store manager. They interviewed a lot of people for a small amount of positions.

Interview
Was contacted through email and invited to a group interview. I'm generally not a fan of group interviews but found this one to be quite good. There was enough time to respond to questions and it was nice to hear other peoples responses. The group interview was broken into four segments and had some interactive/ presenting to the group moments. It fit well with the position we were interviewing for. If you've ever worked in retail, nothing in this interview should come as a surprise!
