    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Inductis (New York, NY) in January 2008.

    Interview

2 rounds of interviews. First round was fit: walk through resume, why do you want to work here?, etc. Finished up with a relatively simple brainteaser. Second round was split: 2 interviews, 1 fit, 1 brainteaser. All of the fit interviews were pretty easygoing. The brainteasers are tough. Expect to talk them out if the answers are not immediately obvious.

    Interview

For graduates, normally on a referral basis. Once your CV is selected, there are a couple of telephonic interviews. I was quizzed on some financial concepts and meaning of Beta, market risks, etc. Also included were some puzzles like the electric bulbs in some other room and identify which one was lit (hint: use the heat technique)
    (refer to chotanarad.com for puzzles)

On clearing the telephonic rounds, there was an in-person interview at the Gurgaon office. It was mostly CV based and some general HR questions
