Institute for Corporate Productivity interview questions

I was referred by an employee, and spoke with three individuals, beginning with my potential boss. I enjoyed the interviews, which were in depth and lasted at least an hour each. I was told there would be a delay in getting back with me as they were holding a virtual conference the following week. After waiting three weeks and following up twice, I received a canned response: "We've decided to go in a different direction." They did not value my time. If they had responded with apologies for the delay, stated they selected another candidate, and said they would keep me in mind for future opportunities, I would understand. The late and canned response was disappointing.

I had 7 interviews both over the phone and in person. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, though I later learned some were disingenuous. It's a bit ironic that the company is called Institute for Corporate Productivity, as the process dragged on for over 3 months. I was never given any feedback except 'we are very pleased where our conversations are going'. It was disconcerting when the CEO asked me for the contact information of one of my high-profile contacts, clearly a one-sided benefit for i4cp. I felt this was inappropriate and in bad taste. It's also ironic to have such a poor interview experience with a company that specializes in HR best-practices. It puts the quality of its services in question.
