I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Intel Corporation in May 2013
Interview
No in-person interview. After applying for scores of jobs at Intel through their online service I was called about a job I had not applied for, but the manager had found my application in the system. One phone interview and I was hired for a one year internship. We discussed the projects his team was working on and what projects I had recently worked on. Intel hired over 600 interns this summer in Hillsboro for all types of jobs and time frames. One year is longest they do, but you can be hired for multiple internships.

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Intel Corporation in Dec 2025
Interview
I applied for a role with Altera (which was acquired by Intel). Formal interview with three 30 minute segments, each with a different interviewer. All questions were technical. Was confusing since I received a second interview a day after the first, but I'm pretty sure it was unrelated. They asked mostly Leetcode Hards.

Interview
A few hours on site with 3 stages. First I had to give a presentation about a project I did, then answer a few questions about it. Then, we had an open-ended problem solving discussion. Finally, there was a short coding exercise.
