HM meeting - really liked the HM
Panel Meeting. I didnt know the roles of the panelist before the interview so it was hard to prepare. One panelist arrived late, didn't put his camera on, so It was me on camera with one other person on camera. And two other attendees, which included the HM and the new guy were off camera (one was having car trouble so I get that), but its difficult to connect in an interview like that. The new Guy was over iCyberSec I think and he asked me a question which caught me off guard. Instinctively I asked if he had read my resume, and he said NO. That was very off-putting, to not be on camera, come late and not even look at my resume. He would have seen that I spent 4.5 years with a C security division for a large company. I found that to be very off-putting tbh. The interview seemed to go well with the other two stakeholders. Then I get a canned email a week later saying no thanks. At this point considering ALL the time and effort I put into their interviews, and test, I would have expected a phone call. But I guess that is too much to ask that a company have some consideration for the applicants. I doubt that they were doing this with double digit candidates, it was a hybrid job that also included QA...
