      Partnerships Manager Interview

      Mar 11, 2021
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Los Angeles, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Internet Brands (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2021

      Interview

Applied on-line and received a request for a call less than a week later for an initial phone interview. After supplying my availability no less than three times, the HR representative repeatedly misread dates/times and randomly called me at their convenience while also neglecting to respond to communication regarding how they wanted to schedule the call (phone, Zoom, etc.). I was very disappointed in the initial representation of the company which took such little care in the details. After the initial phone interview and after reading additional reviews I decided to rescind my application as I do not wish to work for an organization with such little regard for details or respect for people and their time.

      Interview

I didn't think the process would be as bad as what some of the reviews warned of. Best be known, that my experience was worse. I was contacted by the HR for this position. Little did I know I would go on to waste over two months of my time with multiple interviews with the team (managers, SVP, etc), a case study and being led on by the HR team that they were in the process of getting an offer to me. On top of that, they would go and contact my references as well. Only after not hearing from them for nearly a week and trying to see what was going on would they tell me that they have decided to "change" the job description and go in a different direction where they were no longer interested in me as a candidate. You can be favored by the team and HR, but know that the offer still needs to be approved by their Board. Such a backwards way of doing things! For a company to treat candidates in this way is disgusting and even more so in that it is occurring during a pandemic. If a company can do this to a candidate, I don't want to see what they are doing to their employees. Don't make the same mistake I did. Know your worth and don't waste your time on a company like this.
