I initially went through a recruitment partner of Sky, who themselves are a partner of Internet Matters . I had a Skype interview with the the hiring manager. She was working from home and admitted to me that her WiFi connection wasn't great. Many times the call would cut and we wouldn't be able to to hear each other. It went like this for most of the call, until it was ended early as it wasn't really going anywhere. I didn't get the job and chased for feedback. Some of the feedback was that I lacked enthusiasm, to which I would say how enthusiastic would you be when you're having to repeat four or five times because the manager had bad internet. I made effort to make sure I was prepared for a video call, I sat by the router, there is no excuse for the manager not to do the same. It's possible she wasn't planning to work from home on that day, in which case she should have rescheduled or made it a voice call.
