I applied online. I interviewed at Interpreter Intelligence. in Sep 2020
Interview
We had a single, high-level call. I came prepared having reviewed their entire company profile and product offerings. I read, and had begun to ask about the three products the role would be supporting, and the interviewer brashly corrected stating that their company only provided one product (their website lists three products under the product menu off of the home page). I asked to learn more about their expectations for the role, but the interviewer did not elaborate there and instead asked questions about my previous roles but focused on the hours I would be available (my hours were flexible). She mentioned she would contact me back in two weeks to let me know if moving on with other candidates, and she did not do this. I reached out to ask that if I had not been considered for the role, could she please let me know the reason. She responded that they moved on to other candidates, but did not answer my question. The company looks good on paper, but I'm thinking it probably best I missed the opportunity to join under this person's team.
We are sorry to hear you had a negative experience applying for this role. We reviewed several hundred candidates, and since we do not have a dedicated recruiting department, we only provided specific feedback to applicants that made it past the first round. We initially focused on applicants’ availability, because we had applicants from all over the world and we were looking for someone that could provide timely support in the appropriate time zone for the foreseeable future.
