An external headhunter reached to me for an Interroll position. I did a first online technical interview with Interroll and after that they invited me to have a f2f interview in Sant'Antonio. I payed by myself the flights, the Hotel and the meals to go to have the presential interview. I took a day of hollidays at my current job. I went 30 mins earlier to the interview to ensure I was relax and I did my best during the interview. After 1 week they answered they have a "better fit" for the position. They didn't refund the cost of going there. I feel like this is a traumatic experience. I am from Spain and Switzerland flight is a high cost trip. The reason of "finding a better fit" is out of my control so this was painful.
