I was ready for a LeetCode question interview, instead, there was an open conversation about technologies. The interviewer asked about several technologies, including deep dive into implementation of frameworks and challenged my knowledge of how things works under the hood. Overall, I was impressed by the high level of the interviewer but felt surprised and not prepared for the interview I supposed to have at that point of the process. The recruiter disappeared for a few week (!) and then sent a decline formal mail. The day after, suggested different positions.
