The interview itself felt casual and conversational, which I appreciated. However, there was no courtesy follow-up afterward, even after I sent a follow-up email. Over a month later, I received a message asking if I might be interested in a different role, but by then it was clear the team was overwhelmed, so much so that basic but important steps like timely communication were being overlooked.
The interview process includes a phone screening, a 90-minute technical interview, and a 60-minute coding round. Ultimately, there are two more 60-minute interviews to determine culture fit.
Overall i think since its a small team they also largely focus on culture fit and not just technical skills.
