My experience with JESA’s recruitment process was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. The process dragged on for over three months, with inconsistent communication—emails alternating between English and French with no clear standard.
Throughout the process, it became clear that candidates are not treated with respect or consideration. I went through multiple interview rounds (including a case study), and during the fourth interview, I had to pause due to a genuine force majeure situation. I was told that the session would be rescheduled—but it never was. Despite multiple follow-ups, I was completely ghosted.
Not only is this unprofessional, it’s deeply disrespectful. No candidate should be treated this way, especially by a company affiliated with a larger, reputed group. It shows a lack of organization, empathy, and accountability.
In hindsight, I am genuinely relieved I did not join the company. My advice to JESA: stop wasting candidates’ time and start treating people with dignity. You are dealing with human beings—not numbers.
