I found out they do not use transport planning software or have an employed transport planner. Glassdoor reviews from drivers talk about very low moral mainly due to waiting times.
Company do not have internal agreements in place to give the internal recieving end of the goods incentive to reduce waitings times of unloads.
Interviewer said they dont do internal business agreements to rectify this as if that was his decision and not the transport managers.
Interviewer said directors do not listen himself, insinuating they would not list to the Transport Manager either.
when asked about annual salary reviews, Interviewer said he personaly hasn't had a pay rise in 6 years, insinuating I also shouldnt expect an annual pay rise review
Interviewer said there are no career development/training opportunites within company.
Interviewer said job is "very stressful". This means that the interviewer has not done thier job in ensuring that the position he is recruiting for is not stressful.
Interviewer said their transport complaince is 100% perfect, however later confessed that there had been 2 bridge strikes that didnt make it to public enquiry. (I doubt they informed the traffic commisioner)
