Applied in February, submit cover letter and CV through coachassembly website.
Then automatically received online test (numerical and verbal)
Got phone interview in May. interviewer was the HR. Standardized process, 4 questions in 10min. Got assessment day two weeks later.
The assessment day took place in their office lasted 3 hours, including 3 parts.
Interviewers were all SVP in equity research department.
1. Question based interview: 45 min, about 15 questions on a Q-list. including behavioral question, brain teasers(about 5), also some testing business sense and market sense.
2. Analyst practice. Given a 10+ slides about a company, read 45 minutes, then presented your view on this company to the interviewer for 5 minutes. Q&A. then a small exercise. Read two companies simplified financials (2 pages) for 5 minutes, then presented your opinion on these companies to the interviewer. what is the difference, which one to invest.
3. Presentation. Got one week time to prepare for this 5 minute speech, on a topic related to non-finance/business news happened last week.

I applied for the Equity Research Summer Analyst program at the London Office. Received a zoom interview in early 2022. The interview was one-on-one and around 30 minutes. The overall experience is good but the interviewer pushed to details about one of my research program.
