I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at JetBrains
Interview
Call with a recruiter, three interviews, and the test assignment in between.
Very well described on their website, with no surprises.
Overall a very good impression.
Test assignment was big but interesting, they provide a lot of useful feedback
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Mostly about my product and how I manage the product development
I can't recommend them.
After 5 interviews for a PM position + a 12 hours homework (directly connected to their product), they just ghosted me.
All that with appraisals like "we are impressed", or "we were amazed by your skills".
If that wasn't enough, the hitting manager connected to the call and knew about the product less than me, said that he didn't pay attention to board meetings and didn't quite understand about product management, throwing weird questions at me like "we want to target everyone as ideal customer".
Stay far away from these guys.
questions focused on how you work, think, and fit their culture. interviews are usually thoughtful, structured, and respectful of your experience, not overly “corporate.”They love when candidates mention values like quality, craftsmanship, and developer empathy — JetBrains culture is built around engineering excellence and curiosity

Question 1
How do you typically manage projects / priorities?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at JetBrains (Amsterdam) in Feb 2023
Interview
The process was overall in accordance with the information on the website, however, I had to push and ping the recruiter and my hiring manager every time after each round of interviews to get feedback
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Interestingly, mostly it was I who asked questions. Otherwise the questions were very standard: tell us about yourself, diving a bit deeper into my previous experience and a couple of questions about my testing assignment
