I applied through other source. I interviewed at Johns Manville (Denver, CO) in Mar 2020
Interview
Fast and fairly easy. The whole process took about 2 weeks. One phone interview and one in-person interview. I met with an HR person and managers. Heard back about the position in a couple of days. I appreciated that it was fast and I didn't have to wait for answers.
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Johns Manville (Denver, CO) in Mar 2025
Interview
Interviewed initially with recruiter who messaged me on LinkedIn after applying for the position. The interview was average initial questions and screening, which then the recruiter said the next step would be an interview with a regional manager. Unfortunately, I never heard back about scheduling the second interview and found out the position had been filled after emailing the recruiter two weeks after the fact. The interview process overall was not great, it felt very unprofessional for a company of this magnitude to participate in candidate ghosting.

Question 1
What did your day-to-day look like in your role now or your previous role?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Johns Manville in Oct 2023
Interview
first there was a phone call with the recruiter, then an in-person interview on site. the onsite interview was all behavior based questions, the two hiring managers were very unfriendly and there was no warmth or small talk. Just the questions, they spent a long time writing down your answers and then escort you to a conversation with the HR manager before the HR manager escorts you out

Question 1
if you were going to wash your car, tell me how you would go about that
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Johns Manville (Littleton, CO)
Interview
Recruiter interview then in person interview with groups of two people. One interviewer, was intentionally intimidating and very rude. They never acknowledged my answers and seemed to not want to be there. The one who interviewed beside seemed very intimidated by them and unhappy to be there. No one I interviewed with seemed to like their job or enjoy working there. When I asked about company culture, they couldn't come up with anything exciting to talk about, just that they liked to bring food in. Based on other reviews and conversations, turnover is very high in the department. Pay is literally all they have to offer. Also, they make you submit 4 references beforehand and your people have to fill out a lengthy survey out about you. That shouldn't be done until after an interview, it wastes your references time.
