It was smooth and straightforward questions that made the conversation feel more like a dialogue than a formal interview. The interviewer seemed genuinely interested in understanding my background and experiences, and I appreciated that there weren’t any overly tricky or “gotcha” questions. We covered my previous roles, some of the projects I’ve worked on, and how I approach problem-solving and decision-making in complex situations.

Interview
Very straightforward, 30 minutes of screening questions, why are you interested in Konrad, why consulting, tell me about yourself, no trick questions, it was definitely easy to talk to the recruiter
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at KONRAD (Toronto, ON) in Mar 2025
Interview
- Initial screener call
- Portfolio presentation
- Design challenge - 120 mins for a UI challenge, then a 90 min UX challenge
I made it to the design challenge, then was rejected. Overall it was a good process, although the challenge was super ambiguous beforehand – making prep difficult (not sure if they are expecting designers to not prepare at all? It's hard to just... not prepare for an interview)
