I applied through college or university. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (Philadelphia, PA) in Aug 2007
Interview
I was very lucky, I only did one formal interview with KPMG, during my sophomore year in college. From that, I was offered a 3-day externship, that got me an 8-week internship, which resulted in a full-time offer for the fall after I graduate. I do consider the externship and internship to each be an extended interview. I really enjoy the culture and environment at KPMG because so far I have only met people honestly interested in helping each other grow and develop. Also, KPMG has a strong ethical standard, and a strong corporate social responsibility program. If you enjoy volunteerism and people who are passionate inside and outside the office, KPMG may be a good match for you. It would also serve you well to discuss with them the things you are passionate about, especially any volunteer and/or leadership experience you may have. Or, you could discuss why you would like to have those opportunities if you haven't so far.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They really didn't ask anything too tricky or unexpected at my formal interview. Rather, I think the most potentially difficult "test" I had was during my internship when another intern was brought on at my client. I had not prepared myself to have another intern on the site.
the second round interview - manager interview . start with some general questions and an easy conversation. the recruiter asked a lot about my educational background and activities at the university. the recruiter also tested me through some number analysis questions.
Llamada, entrevista con recursos humanos 6 exámenes de selección. En general el proceso es tardado, con una duración estimada de 2 meses. En general los de recursos humanos son amables y se mantienen en contacto contigo a lo largo del proceso.
Group interview with 5 other candidates. The question was the hardest amongst big 4 but I think it depends on the department as heard from other people. Gave us around 15 mins to prepare and needed to give a presentation afterwards. The HR and managers were friendly and the interview process was okay.
