Question 1
Why do you want to work at a big 4 where the work is based on accounting principles.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (New York, NY) in Oct 2022
Interview
Two back to back interviews one was more technical asking questions about specific things I may have learned. The other was more behavioral and situational. They were generally straightforward and the people were nice.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG in Nov 2015
Interview
The process began with an initial phone screen which gave the interviewer a chance to learn more about myself and a chance for me to get a feel for the position. I was impressed with the two managers I had spoke with and they had really sparked my interest for the position. I was contacted a few business days later and was told that they wanted to fly me to the office the following week. The final round office visit consisted of four back-to-back 30 minute interviews with every manager within the practice. It was exhausting considering I was bouncing from one interview to the next but the managers did an exceptional job making sure that I felt comfortable throughout the process. The interviews were mainly behavioral with just a few technical questions thrown into the mix. Overall, I thought the process was very organized and enjoyable.
