I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2021
Interview
It was a standard management consultant interview process, with two rounds of interviews (one on campus, the other in their Toronto offices) divided between a behavioural section and a case interview section. The case interviews was easier than most MBB cases, on par with intermediate level case interviews. The behavioural fit aspect seemed important as well - my interviewers all seemed relatively relaxed and less "intense" than my MBB interviews.

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (Singapore) in Mar 2022
Interview
Hiring Process was supposed to be 2 rounds of case study interviews. First round was with a director with a business case study interview. Was informed that I performed well and moved to scheduling availability for the next round.
However, shortly after informing HR & the director that I had another offer on the table, KPMG informed they will not be proceeding to the next round without any explanation. After clarification, HR informed that that I was too over qualified for the position.
As a candidate, I have never experienced this before, more so a reason of being over qualified. Am unsure why the screening of CV didn’t include viewing past experiences to validate that. It is more highly likely they could not/ did not want to match my other offer.
