      Interview

      It all started with a screening call from Liz (TA), it was brief, informative and decisive. This was followed by a prompt arrangement for a face-to-face interview with the hiring manager. Liz was careful to ensure the time and date of the interview was conveniently allocated to ensure no impediments with my work hours then. On the day of the interview, I was greeted by Liz, which was followed by a tour of the office floor and quick brief to ensure I could relax my nerves before meeting the hiring manager. The interview itself was rather a conversation about my technical and professional experience. It felt rather frank and friendly - we both had a smile on our faces for most of the time. The hiring manager depicted the value he denoted to his team members when he informed me that although he approved of me, it would really depend on the team (peers) to decide whether or not I was the right fit. The following peer review interview was set up promptly afterwards. Which again, was very professional yet friendly. The team leads shared a few scenarios that the team would face from time to time and inquired as to how I would deal with a similar situation. There were no unwarranted overly technical questions, rather situational questions that explored technical prowess and professional etiquette.
