There was a difference between what I was TOLD the interview process was, and what it actually was. That was a red flag. I specifically asked the person I did the first interview with to tell me what the total interview process for this role was. As the salary was so low I wasn't going to waste my time doing 4 or more interviews. I was told that in addition to this first interview there would be 1 more interview for sure, and possibly a third. I also asked the recruiter why the position was open, then put on hold, then reopened as that can also be a big red flag and she said should would find out and let me know and she NEVER did. Instead I got an email from a different woman whom I had never spoken to who wrote, "Below is the information to complete the Kolbe Index that was discussed with you during your interview. This index is the next step in our hiring process." Um, I was never told about taking some index test during the interview, not even when I specifically asked what ALL the steps in their process would be. If I had known that early in the 1st interview I would have ended the interview as I think these tests are stupid and deceptive. They claim that there's no right answer and obviously there is as shortly after I took their test I was told I was not as closely aligned with what they were looking for..blah blah blah. It was one of those tests where you choose what you would be most likely to do and least likely to do. Humans are complex and cannot be distilled down to some test like this as the situations in the test are extremely vague. Any company that pays some quack big money for their test tool which is not backed up by any evidence is not the kind of company I would want to work for. Plus, again their salary and benefits are poor for the diverse set of skills indicated in the job description. Spending even 1 minute with these people was a giant waste of my time, don't let them waste any of yours! The ways things were handled you would not want to work there.
