I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Keyence (Kuala Lumpur)
Interview
Enlightening but very straightforward and honest. Hiring officer from Keyence knows exactly the type of employees that they are willing to hire. If only you're going to understand and accept the long work hours expected of a Keyence staff (not just for Sales Engineer) then this is the right job for you.

My interview process consisted of two rounds. Was flown out to Chicago to role play one of their products. Thirty minutes of behavioral was pretty typical. The thirty minutes of technical role play was on the more difficult side - thought it went well but wasn't given an offer.

I applied online. I interviewed at Keyence (Hanoi) in Apr 2026
Interview
1st round. 5 minutes. Interviewed by one manager, face-to-face. Most questions are quite typical, such as your experience, your reasoning for the application, your general understanding of the role, and your strengths and weaknesses. There's one question, though, where you have to think on your feet, which can be tricky.
