Krames interview questions

Typical screening interview, followed by a team interview that asked for my thought process and how I would approach common job tasks, in addition to my previous experience. Team seemed like a tightly knit group.

Chat with the recruiter, chat with the hiring manager, panel interview with three people from engineering group. They will ask impossible questions like, "You've been asked to fix a bug in spaghetti code you have never seen before and has no unit tests. How do you make sure you don't break anything?" Then they'll act smug because they know things like DRY and SOLID and, because you focus on delivering business value instead of memorizing acronyms they'll tut-tut you. Finally, you'll get a nice automated email saying they're pursuing candidates that better match their needs.
