To be honest, before having the interview I already had a bad impression of the web3 industry, but I put aside my stereotype and tried to be open-minded. The first round with a British hiring manager went well. He was very nice and we had a pleasant chat, he was already imaging me coming to the team. So I passed to the next round with the head of Marketing, who didn't seem super knowledgeable about this industry yet but she was still pretty nice. Then the last round was a total shock, it was with someone from the global partnership team (a very very very rude Chinese young woman). She didn't turn on the camera but insisted me to turn on the camera in a demanding way (not even a please); not to mention before the interview she already rescheduled our interview a few times. When I was choked by her obviously rude and condescending behaviour, she only explained she "was on her way to a business trip" that's her reason not to turn on the camera Fine whatever, but observing your candidate through the camera in a condescending way while your camera's off ??. I just regret I didn't retreat from the interview immediately.
Stay away from these toxic people, at least fight back immediately when you can.
