LORD Corporation Interview Questions

The process was first a call and then a teams interview. After that they will call you to see if you got the position. Pretty simple questions but depends on your department.

1) 30 minute video conference with hiring manager. 2) Give 30 minute technical talk. 3) 45 minute interview with workgroup. 4) 45 minute interview with hiring manager and production lead

It was very professional and involved a lot of technical questions about the Egyptian power distribution system and how to deal with power system in factory and how to work with utility company and manage the inventory

Professional environment with a manager and a team leader. The interview went well and I feel like the staff was very interested in hiring me and they were also very thorough in answering my questions.

Panel interview with 4 people at a time, 8 people total for 4 hours. Very intelligent interviewers. The lab tour was great. I got to see the products that Lord makes and they are impressive.

I got my initial interview through a university career fair. The interview the next day was with 2 of the young engineers at the career fair, and it was pretty short and very general. They told me I'd hear back within 2 weeks, but I didn't hear back for 2 months (this is my only complaint about the process). I had a phone interview with the manager of the department that was still mostly behavioral, with a couple of technical questions as well. Then a few weeks later, they brought me on-site for an interview with the manager and three other team members.

Simultaneously met with four interviewers, but the experience was not at all stressful. Although I was the focus of the meeting, it was very much a two-way conversation. It didn't feel like an inquisition or interrogation. It was one of the best interview experiences of my career.

Had an interview with someone from talent acquisition, they gave me an interview and decided to give a follow up interview. I was then moved on to interviewing with the lead engineer on the team I would be working with.

My interviews with Lord went very well, the people were kind and the timing of interviews was appropriate. I applied for the position and was contacted by a Lord recruiter about a month later. It took about 4 weeks from the initial screening until my final on-site interview. I was given a large analysis project to develop and then present for the on-site interview. I was given a week to complete the project which consisted of forecasting/capacity planning/MRP planning. I first was screened by the recruiter, then had two separate phone interviews with the direct manager and then one of her colleagues. I was asked to come on-site where I re-interviewed with the same two employees, an HR rep, and two other individuals. Lunch was provided and everything was very pleasant overall. Questions were mostly about character and projects that I had worked on. During the presentation I was asked a few situational questions. The presentation required technical skills. I did not receive an offer, which was not a surprise since I did not connect very well with the hiring manager as either of us would hope. Overall the experience was very professional and the people were pleasant. I wish the company the best in the future.
