After speaking with a recruiter from a contract agency who kindly reached out after I filled out the application and met the requirements I was scheduled for an interview with two hiring managers. The interviewers were indifferent. One of them kept rolling her eyes. The impression presented was one of annoyance, both seemed to only be interviewing me as a formality. Neither had any prepared questions. After about 5 minutes they attempted to end the interview abruptly. I attempted to clarify my answers which was not easy as they were not asking direct questions that sought a specific answer. At one point I was told I wouldn't like the position, instead of being asked how I felt about production quotas. The interview ended after a rushed next steps and do you have any questions. I remained professional but really just wanted it to end. If you've ever been invited somewhere and then treated like a nuisance as soon as you arrive then you know how I felt. I decided not to wait for a response and withdrew my application. It was clear they were not interested in working with me.
