Just the first screening interview with Hr. Everything was great and it’s ended up with a verbal promise for setting the second interview at first. After getting another email promise for the second interview, they sent out a thank you email for this position fully filled.

Why do you want to apply for LPL and this position?
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at LPL Financial (San Diego, CA) in Dec 2020
Interview
The role was junior Java developer. The first round interview was with a tech lead in the east coast office. It lasted an hour and I was asked a bunch of technical questions. Also, they asked me to write codes for two easy/medium leetcode problems in a text editor of my choice and walk the interviewer through my thoughts. The second round interview was a with a VP in their San Diego office. She asked me a lot of behavioral questions. I did not hear back from them in over a month and decided to follow up with the recruiter. They informed me that they chose another applicant.
