I did several interviews with tier 1 contractors looking for a graduate role. Laing O'Rourke as by far the most friendly and real. No putting you in intimidating challenges or group tasks, just a casual chat about my life and career goals. How applications should be.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Laing O'Rourke (Dartford, England)
Interview
Online application to be completed with full CV post graduation. Followed by a telephone interview and progressing to full day assessment centre at a regional office. The assessment including individual and group activities.

Interview
I was invited to the interview after online assessments. There were two panels, one from HR and one from engineering. The interview was mostly consisted of behavioural questions and not many technical questions.
