Lake Street Advisors Group interview questions

After applying to the company on indeed, I received an email requesting that I speak with an HR rep via a phone interview. The interview was pretty standard, asking what I knew of the company and then about my own experience. Unfortunately, I believe due to my limited experience I did not make it to the next round of (in-office) interviews.

The process begins with a phone interview. The questions are quite basic and are aimed at determining your understanding of holistic wealth management (especially since the firm deals primarily with high net worth individuals). After the phone interview, candidates are invited to a 1:1 in-person interview at the firm's Portsmouth, New Hampshire office. Unfortunately, I declined to proceed with the interview after taking an assessment that tests your ability to analyze account statements, determine tax liability, etc. However, I was able to meet briefly with some of the partners at the firm, who were all very personable.
