The initial phone interview was great. The woman on the other end was extremely professional. A week later, I logged into zoom for the interview with the individual who would be my boss. That's where things went downhill.
The interviewer was ten minutes late. However, he was very apologetic. I know that life can happen, so that wasn't a big deal. What was a big deal, however, was a complete lack of preparation on his part for the interview.
Once he arrived at the zoom meeting, he told me he needed a second to look at my information. A quick scan was one thing, but there was literally about two minutes of silence as he pulled up my file and looked it over. It felt like he was reading my resume for the first time.
He was nice enough to give me the full 30 minutes allotted for the interview. He wasn't rude, but based on his actions, I got the sense that he was just very unorganized - and that's not a good look for a company such as Levelset.
