The interview on day 1 encouraged me to keep applying for the job, 2nd day interview was something I did not expect.... First of all, Interview process should be reviewed,... I felt bashed around. Applied for the position and I was asked on the questionnaire and in the first interview about my visa status. I told them that I needed sponsor, but I have a Stamp 2 visa. They called me for the second interview because that was ok.... or so I thought.... that they were willing to give me an opportunity to get the job. On the second interview, I had a "Presentation interview".... Why It's related that with IT? I still wonder. Straight away, at the first 2 minutes, the head of IT, tells me "we don't provide sponsorship", that blew me off, why they wasted my time? I felt I have been deceived, and after that this guy told me: "convince me, sell yourself to get this position, why should we sponsor you?". I felt really bad and tried my best, but to be told at the end of the interview that I was insecure. Based on that response to the questions he asked me. However, they didn't test me on my IT knowledge. So I felt really pissed, they asked about everything but.... about IT knowledge, which is my forte. Seems that to be working on LiDL you have to be like them, you have to be really sure on how to convince people, and it doesn't matter if you don't know how to to resolve problems on your field. And do not forget: put rubbish on your resume, they don't care about it.
