I was invited to telephone interview and the same day I was rejected.
Honestly if you want to get a job at Lidl fake the interview. The recruiters want to hear specific things. So your answers have to kind of automated and predermined. Visit a career site get the best answers and use them during the interview even if you have to lie for most of them.
No personal judgement allowed. Fake your answers and you will get the job.

Straight forward process, good recruitment team. Unfortunately the company culture does not match the brand's reputation hence such large number of senior positions advertised as existing team is not keen to apply for them...

Interview
Completed an online application - did not hear back for months. Invited a few weeks ago to complete a telephone interview and consequently then to an assessment day. Assessment Day is this week with preparation including a SWOT analysis presentation. Have been told that the day also includes an interview, maths and intray tests and a group exercise.
