LifeCo interview questions

I applied for the position online and went to the office for an interview. I was told I would hear from them by the end of the week which I got an email stating they would need one more week. Then NOTHING. I emailed back to check in and no one answered me. After one more follow up email I gave up as no one was eating back to me. It’s ok if I didn’t get the position but just let people know because it’s very unprofessional.
