Interview

Fast detailed interview. Meet with recruiter and then an interview is scheduled. The interview is made up of scenario questions, experience questions, and goals. The interview isn’t too hard. I recommend asking questions to get to know the company more

Interview

I did not complete the interview process because the first impressions were horrible. The recruiter told me different information than the interviewing clinician. When I met for my interview virtually, the clinician had the laptop on his lap. He went over my resume to confirm that it is accurate, asked what modalities I use, and what population I wanted to work with. There were no clinical questions and he seemed to not want to be there. He did not introduce himself or offer any information about benefits. When I asked for some information about health insurance, I was instructed to make an appointment for call. Whereas other companies sent me a comprehensive benefits package so that I could look it over and compare to other offers I received. They offered on the spot and set up another interview with who would be my team lead. But the communication and transparency was lacking from the get-go and there are so many other great therapy offices to work for.

Interview process included an initial email screening, 15 minute phone screening, 5 recommendation surveys sent through a portal, and a 30 minute interview. The process went smooth, but disappointing that they never cared to reach out after the interview despite follow up.

Difficult Interview
Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at LifeStance Health (Dallas, TX) in Nov 2022

Interview

I was contacted by a very nice Recruiter within a week of applying for a certain role. Upon our conversation, she felt as if I would be a better fit for a higher level position within the company. I then met with a Regional VP of Operations, which also went quite well. After this I was scheduled three more interviews with executive leadership. The first two went great, but the fifth and final interview with the COO left me feeling completely disappointed. I was told from the beginning of the interview how busy he is and how he didn’t really have the time to speak with me. He rushed through his questions and I was barely able to get an intelligent response out. It left me feeling extremely nervous and very unheard. When asked if I had any questions, I responded that I had met with several other individuals and at the time they had answered everything I had asked wonderfully, I was met with a negative reaction and told how the role is a higher level position and that I must meet with everyone. I tried my best to explain that I was not complaining, just trying to inform him of all of the information I was previously provided with. I was completely shut down after. I left the interview feeling as if I had just stepped out of a hostile environment. I followed up with the Recruiter and thanked her for everyone’s time. One week and two follow up emails later, I have still received no response as to if the position has been filled. A follow up email letting me know they have decided to go in a different direction would have been greatly appreciated,

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at LifeStance Health

Interview

I was contacted by a recruiter who emailed me after I had sent in my application. I was told that he was interested in setting up a phone call interview. I was excited to learn more about the position so I scheduled the phone call appointment via google calendar as directed in his email. His calendar had only availability 7 days from the initial contact so I chose the first available. The night before my interview, I get an alert saying my appointment has been canceled in the google calendar. I follow up with Said recruiter via email to confirm the cancellation and discuss rescheduling. I did not hear anything back from him. The next day, 15 minutes before my now canceled interview was scheduled, I get a generic email from "Lifestance Health" stating, " Unfortunately, we have decided to move forward with another candidate at this time. You are welcome to search for other roles on our career site and apply to those roles that match your background now and in the future." I was extremely disappointed as I had set aside my time and made plans to have this interview. I was shocked that I had not spoken to anyone at any point. This felt incredibly unprofessional and spoke volumes about how the company is run. While I am disappointed, I am also grateful that I have had this experience so I can avoid them at all costs.
