    Managing Director Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Norwalk, CT

    Positive Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at LogicSource (Norwalk, CT) in July 2018.

    Interview

Internal Director of Talent reached out directly to me. From our first conversation I felt that I was speaking with an honest, transparent recruiter (which are often hard to find). I moved very quickly to a series of remote interviews and had robust conversations with the Managing Partners that I spoke with. Overall great experience. I would welcome the opportunity to speak with any one of my interviewers again.

    Interview

Had several phone interviews, and one on-site interview. Everyone I spoke with was very nice and sharp. I was never asked any oddball questions, it felt more conversational than a standard interview. Had a great experience from start to finish.

    Director, Supply Chain Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Norwalk, CT

    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at LogicSource (Norwalk, CT).

    Interview

HR interview was professional. Individual interviews with managers were less than professional. They were more interested in chatting. Although some relevant questions were asked on skills. The interviewees were not seasoned in asking questions.
This should have been a red flag.
Another red flag should have been the interview with the managing director of the division who is no longer there. He had such a big ego and appeared to be the nasty man he turned out to be,

    Interview Questions

    • Nothing really. They really did a poor job of interviewing.   Answer Question

Salary was not where it needed to be.
Offer came in lower than what I was making.
Re-negotiation only took a day or so.

    Procurement Manager Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Dallas, TX
    Accepted Offer
    Positive Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at LogicSource (Dallas, TX) in June 2010.

    Interview

Very thorough interview process including multiple interviews by LogicSource associates and clients. The company is very selective and careful to hire people who will thrive in the demanding environment - especially when the individuals will sit on-site at clients. Employees must assimilate not only to the LogicSource culture but also that of the client/s they will serve.

    Interview Questions

    • All of the questions were very straightforward; the most difficult part was the number of interviews/conversations   Answer Question

    Negative Experience

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at LogicSource in March 2012.

    Interview

My interview process was disjointed and confusing. Luckily I still managed to get the job. Communication was poor at best. I felt as though my looks were more important than skill or experience

    Interview Questions

    • Honestly, most of the senior people who interviewed me spent most of the interview talking about themselves. The company is full of insecure people who like to make others feel bad about themselves.   Answer Question

    Negotiation

No, I was not able to negotiate. I was promised future opportunities that never materialized and the company has shifted my responsibilities a number of times without prior notification

One phone interview and one in person. Some of the questions that the interviewers asked were borderline illegal. These roles only last 3-5 years depending on the contract. They are a very tiny coming trying to act like a fortune 100.
