The store manager and the assistant store manager created such a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere which was such a nice change of pace compared to other group interviews I’ve attended in the past which have felt intimidating. We were given a list of questions to choose from and asked to answer 3, we were also given some time to write some notes and prepare our answers for said questions. We were also given a potential scenario and asked what we would do in that situation. Overall it was a wonderful experience and honestly the nicest interview I’ve ever attended.

How would you describe Lucy & Yak to someone who had never heard of the brand?

Interview
After applying online, I was sent an email invitation for a group interview. It happened on location at their pop-up with two managers and three other interviewees. The managers talked about the brand and gave us a brief description of the role. We then answered questions as icebreakers for them to get to know us. This was followed by scenarios that we were able to discuss in smaller groups and then presented our answers to the managers. They were interested in our knowledge and passion for the brand. It was a straightforward and lovely experience.

The questions for the first part were varied. We were to choose three questions from a list of about twelve. Some were more about the brand, how would we describe the brand to someone who had no knowledge of it, our experience in customer service to what superpower we would want.
