      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lyft (Nashville, TN) in Apr 2018

      Interview

The interview process was lengthy but I had the opportunity to meet a lot of people I could be working with and got a great sense of whether or not I would be a good fit. There was an initial phone screening with a recruiter, followed by 2 30 minute in person interviews with upper management a few days later. Then about a week and a half later I had 3 back to back 30 minute in person interviews followed by a tour of the office and then a presentation and q&a session with a panel. That was followed a few days later with a phone interview with one of the directors. Many of the questions were behavioral based, “tell me about a time when” and also making sure you would be comfortable in a start up atmosphere.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Lyft (Nashville, TN) in Aug 2016

      Interview

The interview process was a very in depth. I would suggest familiarizing yourself with Google Hangouts beforehand if you have never used the tool, especially if you are interviewing for a position in which you are relocating for. There were multiple rounds to the interview process. First there was the initial phone screen and then a second more in depth phone interview. After that I was given a homework assignment to complete. It is purposely vague but I still encourage you to ask any questions you may have. Once you are past the homework there is a round of back to back interviews and role-playing scenarios that are specific to your role. Leadership roles may require a presentation as well. The entire process is actually very involved but was a positive experience overall.
