Interview
I applied for the role and did a phone screen with a recruiter. Then I did a video call with 3 people from the team. Was supposed to be 4 but one never showed up. The first person showed up late, I didn’t speak to the people they told me I would speak too, and the last interviewer just never showed up. After the interviewer, the recruiter said he would contact me “by the end of the week” for feedback. It’s been a month and I still have not heard back. I am assuming this means no, but seems like a pretty bad process.

Interview
I had interviews with the recruiter that contacted me, then with few sourcers and the team that I would be working with. The final interview was with the Hiring Manager.

Interview
The recruiter did a phone screen with me that was very straight forward. It probably took only 10-15 mins before she invited me in for an onsite interview. The onsite interview was nothing like I imagined. It was WAY BELOW my expectations. I did not feel welcome and I never met the recruiter I spoke with. My first interviewer showed up and brought me up to the room where he proceeded to whine and actually swore a couple of times before attempting to kick out the group in the room. Eventually we started the interview in a different room. He was easy-going for the most part, but gave no indication of whether my answers were acceptable to him. Sounded like he was reciting the same things about Lyft to anyone.
My next interviewer was completely uninterested. He had lacked any sort of facial expressions and was monotone the entire time. Neither of these people seemed engaged nor interested in me as a candidate. If they were going to be like that, I would rather not be at the onsite stage.
Also, both sounded extremely entitled - called Lyft a much "hotter" company than a lot of amazing start ups right now, including the company I am currently at. It's cool to proud of your company, but not cool to put other companies down. To be honest, I felt as if I should've just left after the first 20 minutes.. It's a total shame since I actually do enjoy the service.
TL; DR: Horrible candidate experience. Entitled and bored interviewers.
