We appreciate the time each candidate puts into our process & are sorry to hear that you did not feel the experience was a positive one. Everyone's interview style is different. Mitch likes to get to the "real person" & does not do that in the typical interview sense. He wants it to be a natural conversation, not rehearsed with textbook answers. While yes, there is someone who cried (as the chat reminded them of their recently deceased grandfather) most people walk away feeling like they had a deep & insightful conversation vs. a typical interview.
Gaslighting is not something we would tolerate. We are proud of our team & the culture we have created. We like to add talent who can think "outside the box", thus Mitch's questions.
