MIM Solutions interviews FAQs
The hiring process at MIM Solutions takes an average of 14 days when considering 2 user submitted interviews across all job titles. To compare, the average duration of hiring at similar companies like BlackRock, Inc. is 14 days, Fabricated Software, Inc. is 2 days, and Apple Inc. is 21 days. Candidates applying for Senior Data Scientist had the quickest hiring process (on average 14 days), whereas Senior Data Scientist roles had the slowest hiring process (on average 14 days).
The process was divided into 2 parts. One with COO of the company and the technical interview. In my opinion some of the questions in the technical interview were beyond the expected scope for a junior-level position.

Question 1
You have two models that achieve the same accuracy. How can you tell which one is better? Or is it just a matter of randomness? Which result is more "true"?
tl;dr I accepted an offer the company sent, but later they revoked the offer without giving any reason nor feedback.
One soft skills, coding questions and on later interview some theoretical ML questions. After the final interview I was sent an email with the offer, I accepted it, and so declined other recruitement processes I was going through. Then, two weeks later, I received an email saying:
"After additional analysis of the current needs of our team and the organisational plans of MIM Solutions, I regret to inform you that unfortunately we will not be able to offer you cooperation."
Just unprofesional and shows lack of respect.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at MIM Solutions (Warsaw, Masovia) in Jan 2023
Interview
I was approached on LinkedIn regarding this role. I agreed to talk to them to find out about their projects to see if it could interest me at all while the possible compensation could potentially justify changing jobs. Despite having a lot of seniority and successes in this field, instead of focusing on what matters (my experitise), I was asked by the recuiter to do a school programming task (ca 30 mins) which was unrelated to the role I agreed on talking about (data science & ML != basic python programming). Meanwhile, the timeslot for interview ended and my questions remained unaswered. In the end, I was given a "no" without any justification / further feedback. To conclude, the culture seems to be lacking at this company, at least in the recruitment process.
