I heard back from a recruiter 12 days after I applied to set up a phone screen. The phone screen was very easy and quick. Then I was scheduled for an in-person interview.
This was a fake job interview process and I believe that they were hiring internally. I arrived at MTF 15 minutes early and signed in with the receptionist. Then a couple of minutes later the supervisor came out. It wasn't an interview. First she handed me the job description for some reason. She asked me one question and said a couple of things about the job and company, and after 2 minutes she said, "That was all I had."
Why did I have to go in-person for that? I asked a couple of questions after that, but it was less than 10 minutes altogether. I was in my car before the interview was even supposed to begin. I prepared for the interview and got dressed up. If you are going to have a fake job interview, don't make people go in-person for it. You could have done it virtually. Then at the end of the week, I logged into my candidate portal and it showed "other candidate selected" on the same date that I interviewed. I was never emailed. Don't interview with this company.
