      English Tutor Interview

      Jul 5, 2024
      Anonymous employee
      Shanghai, Shanghai
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Magic Ears (Shanghai, Shanghai) in Jul 2021

      Interview

The interview process was mostly a demo which required you to have a mock class with the interviewer. It can be very awkward since you have to be very bubbly, speak very slowly and be really animated in your movement and gestures. They definitely emphasize this for you so your interviewer might keep bringing it up during your mock lesson.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Most of the questions were situational. For instance what would you do if your young student cannot understand the instructions.
