My first interview was a phone interview with 3 people and they seemed unsure as to what they were really looking for. Thought it went well. A month and a half later, the CEO reached out informally on LinkedIn, which I thought odd. I then came in and met with the CEO and his assistant. The assistant was very nice and welcoming, as was the CEO. I asked many questions as I was leaving a company I care a lot about to join what I thought would be a great team. I expressed concern with my ability to do my job effectively with out a few standard buying programs and research. I was told that they would provide all the tools needed to do my best work. I was sold! Before my first day I was aggressively encouraged to attend Monday morning meetings will before my first day on payroll. Then I was to provide my own computer. Then when I requested my tools I expressed in the interview, I never got them. It was a cluster from the word go.
