Mapprr interview questions

The round Consist of 2 Rounds. 1st is a very basic telephonic round. Asked very elementary questions on swift. 2nd was an Assignment round, given a Github UI and API and i need to integrate it. It is also very easy to whom who knows Rest API's, Basic UI Implementation, Architectural Patterns I have put my maximum time just to make the impressive Assignment. But their unprofessionalism is up above the sky. They told me that we really like your Assignment and you are selected as well but we are not able to provide the compensation what you have asked for. They were not even picking up the calls. Now my question is, If you know from the first call about my expectation then why you proceed further with my Candidature? Wasting people time does not justifies, specially with your kind of startup.

This happened in May 2019. They called me for face to face. After going, they made me wait for 3 hours. There was a lady probably the CEO mother who came around to just see me thru the mirror and the later went inside. They took the interview for 15min and asked to leave. I didn't get any revert from them for a long time though i tried to reach them for checking my status. finally, after 12 days they answered my call and informed me that they cannot afford the pay I am asking them which was conveyed by me during the first HR round.
