What started out as a professional process quickly devolved into total ghosting and a lack of communication. In December, I had a great screening call with the recruiter and discussion with the hiring manager. In December, calls were scheduled with a set of stakeholders to take place in early January. The panel discussions went well and then boom…radio silence. A recruiter later reached out in February to note that he was leading the search. Since then, I have seen the role I applied for in October re-posted and not filled. What’s ironic is that Jeff, the second recruiter actually had the audacity or tell me after a long lapse of communication that I did not fall into a black hole.
The total lack of respect and professional courtesy is disappointing and speaks volumes about the kind of employer Marvell is. Full stop.
