I applied through other source. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at MathWorks (Natick, MA) in Apr 2023
Interview
My process consisted of 5 interviews and 2.5 technicals. I wanted to be hired in a software-adjacent operations role, so the first step was a primary phone screen. The second was a technical interview on HackerRank, which wasn't super complicated, but I think I did poorly on it. The third step was a phone screen with the person who would actually be my manager after I left EDG. The fourth step was a technical assessment closer to what I would actually be doing on the job. The fifth step was a Teams screen with a person at the company who was doing work similar to mine. The sixth was an interview day where I gave a 30+ minute presentation and met with several people who I'd be working with, and after that I was offered the position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic questions about times I struggled versus prospered in team settings. They asked me about my familiarity with Matlab, but knowing how to use it is not a requirement.
I applied online. I interviewed at MathWorks (Massachusetts Avenue Heights)
Interview
Phone interview with the hiring manager, phone call with internal recruiter, phone interview with team member, virtual interview presentation (with prep call and feedback from hiring manager) followed by 5 one-on-one virtual interviews.

Interview
The interviewers were very helpful and did not seem intimidating at all. First there is a phone call with the manager where they just ask you what you want to do if you join mathworks. Then theres the technical interview. Another manager round and finally the HR round.
They asked a low-level design question. There were two interviewers. One was just there to oversee and the other was a member of the EDG group who joined ~2 years ago.
