I applied online. I interviewed at Mathematica in Jun 2017
Interview
Did a phone interview with senior staff. Was very pleasant, but then didn't hear back for several weeks. When I checked in with the interviewer, I then received a rejection from HR. Strange process, plus a waste of time.
I applied online. Received an email about 2 weeks later to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview lasted about an hour. The questions were fairly straightforward. There were a lot of questions about coding/coding projects.

I applied online. I interviewed at Mathematica (Washington, DC) in Mar 2012
Interview
I applied online and a received a call from the HR department a few weeks later. This first call was used as an initial screening to see if my programming skills were sufficient. Two weeks later, I was invited to interview on-site and they flew me out. I met with 9 to 10 different people for about a half hr each (this includes a lunch with two employees). After three weeks of no response, I had to email HR to find out that they had already chosen another candidate.
