I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Mathnasium (Conyers, GA) in Jul 2020
Interview
Someone reached out to me to apply for the math tutor position through ZipRecruiter. I applied and she then invited me to take the math test. From my understanding, you need to pass that to move on to the interview. I did not hear back for awhile so I thought maybe I did not pass. But, I got a message later asking for an interview at a specific date and time later that week. I knew I wouldn’t be able to make that. So I let her know what my availability would be for that week and asked if there was another time the interview could be scheduled . Well, I was ghosted after that. Did not hear from her from weeks. I had to reach out again to ask basically, what happened with the interview. I get a response saying they already filled the position.... Okay thanks for wasting my time. I was thrown off because usually you’re asked to give multiple times and dates you’re available to interview. Sorry I’m not able to drop everything to make a last minute interview. If I could I would. Very inconsiderate of people’s time, and frankly rude given the way I was ghosted (in the middle of scheduling an interview).
Straightforward. Took online math assessment and then came in for an interview that was more of a personality check. Manager was friendly and was offered the job at the end of the interview.
