Interview
AWFUL! Unprofessional staffing company who's more interested in selling one's skills for profit instead of helping them finding jobs. Got a phone call from a Maven Recruiter in Ohio, who was quite polite and helpful. But suddenly I got interrupted by a Manager who was STUPID and RUDE. I was quite comfortable talking to the Recruiter and this snotty Manager jumps into the conversation and starts demanding for more info, that they could not submit my resume while having an outdated portfolio.
Despite explaining that I was working on updating my online portfolio, this RUDE manager was finding excuses to brush me off. He used the old tactic of pretending that he a bad connection at his office to hang up on me. He did call me back only to reiterate that I needed a better portfolio.
I just want to say that I did take your advice to heart and it took 2 days to get my online portfolio updated with some of my best work!
Thanks for making me so angry to the point that it forced me to work on my portfolio! It will certainly help, with other recruiters and companies! :)
